Dr. Stanley E. Vermillion

Dr. Vermillion attended the University of Kansas for his undergraduate education.  He received his medical degree from University of Kansas Medical School.  His internal medicine residency and nephrology fellowship were trained at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.  He served in the military as the Director of Internal Medicine at the Air Force hospital in Goldsboro, North Carolina.

Upon completion of his military service, Dr. Vermillion moved to Johnson City to practice internal medicine and nephrology.  Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Vermillion held onto the steadfast belief of treating patients with the best care, dignity and respect they deserve.  It has always been his dream to open a premier free-standing peritoneal dialysis unit in Johnson City.  Dr. Tran and the entire staff at Smokie Mountain Dialysis Center share his visions and values.

Dr. Vermillion resides in Gray with his wife Pam and their dog, Candy.  He has three children and five grandchildren.  Pam has two children who also reside in Johnson City.
